MAYOR'S COOKIE JAR COMPETITION
Van Buren County
All jars entered become the property of the Van Buren County Fair.
The jar should be a glass, wide-mouth, gallon variety, and
decorated. The decorated cookie jars may be filled with homemade or purchased
cookies. The judging will be based on the decorations and the
attractiveness of the jar and cookies.
Entries can be submitted Monday through Friday in the
Graham-Weatherly Building.
Categories are:
- Youth
- Junior
- Adult
- Senior
Judging will be Friday evening, September 18th. All cookie jars will
be auctioned on Saturday, September 19th, immediately following the
livestock premium auction held in the livestock arena.
The 2009 Scholarship amount of $500.00 winner was Shelby Link
from Southside.
The 2008 Scholarship amount of $500.00 winner was
