Merchants Display Judging - live category by appointment only
9:00 am - 10:00 am Horses for horse show halter classes may arrive. Coggins papers will
                  be checked and horses need to be entered in with the Livestock Superintendent.
10:30 a.m. Halter Class - Horse Show Arena
11:00 am Judging horse show halter classes.
12:00 pm Releasing all horses
6:00 p.m. Elementary Pageant in GW Bldg.
                Age 6 years and up
7:00 p.m. Teens, Junior & Senior Fair Queen Pageant in GW Bldg.

Sunday, September 12
2:00 p.m. Parade, Line-up for judging - corner Hwy. 65 & 65B
3:00 p.m. - Parade thru downtown

Monday, September 13
8:00 am to 6:00 pm Reg diary goats, reg meat goats, market goats, market lambs, breeding
                               sheep, commercial ewes may arrive.
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Enter Creative Arts Exhibits (excluding Food Prep Items) in the GW        Building
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Set up commercial exhibits
8:00 am to 7:00 p.m. Enter goats & lambs
6:00 pm weighing in market goats, market lambs, and commercial ewes.

10:00 a.m. GW  Building Open - Tuesday opens at 1:00 p.m.
11:00 a.m. Kitchen Concessions Open
Gate - 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wed. thru Fri. 13 & over $4.  12 & Under Free
           12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday & over $4.  12 & Under Free

4:00-9:00 p.m. Commercial Exhibit Building Open - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.(noon). Sat.
5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Farmer for a Day -10 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday
6:00-10:00 p.m. Carnival Rides Open
         - WEDNESDAY - Church Groups sign in at office & get arm band for $15.00
         - THURSDAY - SATURDAY - call to see what special will be!
         - SATURDAY-  The carnival will raffle off his and her bicycles!

Tuesday, September 14
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Judging of Creative ArtsExhibits in GW Building
                                    - GW Building closed to public.
1:00-6:00 p.m. Enter Food Preparation Exhibits - Kitchen Bldg.
6:00 pm Judging reg diary goats, reg meat goats, and market goats
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Judging of Food Preparation Exhibits
7:00 pm Judging reg breeding sheep, market lambs, and commercial ewes.
7:30 p.m. Food Preparation baked good items will be on sale in the kitchen building. Money
                raised goes for local scholarships given by VBC Fair Association.
9:00 pm Releasing all goats and lambs except those making the livestock premium auction.

Wednesday, September 15
9:00 am to 6:00 pm Diary cattle, beef cattle, swine, poultry, and rabbits may arrive.
6:00 pm  Weighing in market hogs, commercial gilts, country barrows market steers, and
               commercial heifers.
7:00 pm Youth Talent Rehearsal in GW Building


Thursday, September 16

6:00 pm Judging reg breeding beef, commercial heifers, and market steers.
6:30 PM AWE Pro-Wrestling - West of Commercial Exhibit Building
7:00 p.m. Judging of Junior Market Hogs

Friday, September 17 - School Bus Day

4:00 pm Judging poultry and rabbits.
6:00 pm Judging reg diary cattle.
7:00 pm Judging reg breeding swine, commercial gilts and county bred barrows.
7:00 p.m. Judging Jr. & Open Breeding Swine & Jr. Commercial Gilts/Barrows
7:00 pm Gospel Concert - Sounds of Praise

Saturday, September 18
9:30 am Register for Strutt Your Mutt
10:00 am Strutt Your Mutt Program
10:00 am Livestock premium auction Immediately followed by the Mayor's Cookie Jar auction.
                Money raised goes for local scholarships given by VBC Fair Association
11:00 a.m. 4-H & FFA Poultry Chain Auction in Poultry Bldg.
11:30 am Presenting herdsman awards
12:00 pm 4-H poultry chain auction
3:00 pm - Kids Day (10 years and under) by the Fair Office
4:00 pm Best of the Best Showmanship contest
5:00 p.m. Youth Talent Contest
7:00 pm Community Band will play Dixie Land music in the GW Building
8:00 pm Release all livestock

Sunday, September 19
1:00-3:00 p.m. Pick up Creative Arts exhibits. Prepare blue ribbon winning exhibits for District Fair entry. Prepare BEST OF SHOW winning exhibits for State Fair entry.
